Glenys Heap, Head of Educational Development at Dyslexia Action

Glenys has worked for Dyslexia Action (formerly the Dyslexia Institute) since 1989.

Glenys was a course director on the attendance PG Diploma in Leicester for a number of years and has worked as Programme Director for accredited and non-accredited short courses delivered within the training department. She is now Head of Educational Development within Dyslexia Action.

Glenys has worked on a number of DfE sponsored projects in the last few years, including the Inclusion Development Programme (IDP), the BID project (Building On Inclusion Development) and the Communications Trust project for training Youth Offending Teams. She is currently leading on the Dyslexia- SpLD Trust’s Empowering Parents and Carers project and is a team leader on the Load2Learn project working alongside colleagues from the RNIB.
